Thrane
& Thrane Capsat Messenger is the most complete
Inmarsat GAN system available today. It has a fold
away antenna and a rugged magnesium transceiver.
The phone can be setup via the system handset or
by laptop using the CD provided. The transceiver
comes with a handset and many ports providing a
wide range of services. Services include 2 x RJ11
ports (Telephone ports) which can be configured to
be used for low speed fax (2400bps), G4 fax
(14.4kbps), connecting a 56k analog modem or
optional DECT handset. ISDN connections are made
through an external ISDN modem connected to the
ISDN port. There is also an RS232 port for low
cost, low speed data (2400bps) and also Audio in
and out ports for
journalists.

The
Capsat Messenger is very robust, easy to use and
extremely flexible. The internal battery and
lightweight build makes it very portable, even the
carry case can be converted to a backpack. The
Capsat Messenger makes portable ISDN voice, Data,
Video conferencing and store and forward video
transfer a reality.
The
Capsat Messenger provides the widest range of
antennas ensuring that all your requirements are
met. The same TT3080 transceiver is used with each
antenna and all services are available so simply
choose the system to suit your
